Umbraco / .NET Developer

We're looking for an Umbraco/.NET Developer to support our senior engineers and clients working across both project builds and ongoing support.

Jumping straight into the deep end to help solve real business problems will be an everyday experience.

You

Your background will be in web development, with strong experience in Umbraco and .NET, but you’ll have an appreciation of the full technical stack to collaborate effectively with the wider development team.

Skills

You must be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong proficiency in Umbraco CMS and .NET development.
  • Experience with Azure infrastructure, including hosting, deployments, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with React and Next.js is a huge bonus.
  • Strong understanding of modern CSS methodologies and pre-compilers (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Sass).
  • Good knowledge of vanilla JavaScript and modern JavaScript environments (e.g., Node, Deno, Bun).
  • Proficiency with Git and GitHub, including experience with pull requests and collaborative development.
  • Experience with unit testing in JavaScript and .NET.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with designers and other developers.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma is a plus.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, including team effort estimation.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and sharing knowledge with the team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality web solutions using Umbraco CMS and .NET.
  • Work with Azure infrastructure, managing hosting, deployments, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to bring Figma designs to life as functional web applications.
  • Supporting the implementation of front-end using React, Next.js and styling.
  • Ensure clean, modular code with a good understanding of modern CSS methodologies (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Sass).
  • Use Git and GitHub for version control, following best practices in pull request workflows.
  • Participate in team effort estimations, planning sessions, and agile workflows.
  • Write unit tests to maintain high code quality across both JavaScript and .NET environments.
  • Pragmatically analyse and solve technical challenges, presenting multiple solutions where appropriate.
  • Share knowledge with the team, helping foster a culture of learning and collaboration.
